Findings Reporting

All detected sensitive data is recorded in the Findings view, providing a centralized location where you can review and manage any flagged items.

For security reasons, the Findings view does not display the sensitive data itself. However, you can open the specific issue or page directly from the Findings view to assess the context and, if necessary, take additional action.

Each entry in the Findings list includes key details such as:

• Type: Specifies the category of sensitive data detected, such as email addresses, passwords, or financial information.
• Location: Indicates where the data was found, ie the issue in Jira, or the page/comment in Confluence.
• Found: Displays when the data was detected, helping you track the timing of potential risks.
• Processed Actions: Lists any automated actions performed by PII Protection, such as redactions, notifications, or deletions.

This secure and comprehensive reporting allows administrators to quickly identify and respond to data protection concerns, ensuring sensitive information is managed in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
