Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

PII refers to any data that can be used, either alone or in conjunction with other information, to identify an individual. This includes but is not limited to names, addresses, social security numbers, driver's license numbers, credit card numbers, medical records, or any other unique identifier associated with a person. It's crucial to protect PII from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction to maintain privacy and prevent potential harm or breaches.
