Check Groups

In order to find any PII or sensitive data, you need to tell PII Protection what to look for. This is done by creating check groups and assigning them to a space. A check group is a number of checks that are grouped together. You would typically create check groups to group a number of checks that all belong to the same class of checks.

For example, you might want to scan for all kinds of credentials. You would therefore create a check group that contains check like:

• Passwords
• Credentials
• API Keys
